Strategic Research Center SRC

Established in 2018 and headquartered in Gaziantep, Turkey, Strategic Research Center (SRC) specializes in conducting research within humanitarian contexts. Our center offers valuable insights and guidance to humanitarian organizations, corporations, and governmental bodies through a range of comprehensive studies, reports, and assessments. With a focus on public health, health economics, and cutting-edge technologies, SRC conducts targeted research and analysis. Our independent and pioneering investigations extend into interconnected domains.

SRC plays a pivotal role in examining health-related matters in conflict and disaster-ridden regions, encompassing aspects such as health systems, health economics, public health, and particularly, Gender-Based Violence. By aligning health programs with national strategies and contextual rationales, we equip stakeholders and interested parties with pertinent information and strategies. Furthermore, we actively oversee the execution of health initiatives, employing robust monitoring schemes based on humanitarian indicators.

Mission, Vision, and Values

Mission: Through the team's knowledge, expertise, diversity, and intimate understanding of research principles, SRC helps move humanitarian actors and interested entities toward coordinated, evidence-based, and rationalized utilization of available resources in the humanitarian sector.

Vision: Rational utilization of resources to improve the impact of aid programs and enhance access of vulnerable people to humanitarian assistance.

Values:

  • SRC is a non-governmental and independent center and does not execute any agenda out of the center’s plan.

  • SRC is neutral and does not support or stand against any government or country politics.

  • SRC supports the fair distribution of sources and opportunities.

  • The center values humanitarian interventions and prioritizes coordination with other partners in emergency settings.

  • SRC recognizes the fundamental importance of human rights in all aspects of its work.
